Holidays can are often especially painful for those experiencing grief and broken heartedness. If this is you, my heart goes out to you. It’s veen a few years for me, but it still stings. The chair still sits empty. And the stocking still hangs with no anticipation of it being filled and enjoyed. If you know someone who’s grieving the loss of a loved one, I encourage you to be especially mindful and tender hearted. And remember that grief is something to be considered—not something to be fixed.
