The nomadic Berber life in the Merzouga desert, in southeastern Morocco, is marked by adaptation to the extreme climate and constant movement. Berber families live in jaimas (tents made of goat or camel wool) which they dismantle and move according to the seasons, in search of water and pasture for their animals.They are primarily dedicated to herding goats and dromedaries, and to traditional crafts such as weaving and leatherwork. Their lives revolve around family, hospitality, and respect for
