Several families were left homeless in freezing temperatures after a devastating fire engulfed Jhaniyar village in Himachal’s Kullu district. The fire broke out around 2:30 PM and spread rapidly, destroying traditional Kathkuni houses made of wood and stone. With no road access, fire tenders couldn’t reach the spot, villagers tried to control the flames themselves but failed as the blaze consumed nearly the entire settlement. Officials said 16 structures, including two temples and a cowshed, wer
