The happiest bouquet. 💐🤗 Feverfew is one of my favorite cutting flowers. It has an herbal aroma like yarrow—and it’s used medicinally too! I’m in zone 7, and it grows perennially for me. I started these from seed, planted in full sun, and enjoy flushes of blooms in June and again late summer after I cut it back. Feverfew From the name you’d think it cures fevers, and apparently it can, or at least it’s been reputed to. It contains a compound called parthenolide, which has been studied for that. Some tests were done in the 1980s, and the results were mixed. Who knows? Maybe you use it and it works for you. There’s often a grain of truth in these old remedies. It’s a rather pretty plant, part of the daisy family, though the smell is awful. Really strong. Some people love it, but many can’t stand it. Fever

🌼 Meet Feverfew. The flower that looks like it just heard good news — every single day. With its cheery daisy-like face and bright yellow center, feverfew is basically a giggle in botanical form. It just makes you smile. Don’t be fooled by the name — this little plant is more sunshine than sick day. Historically used to treat everything from headaches to bad moods! Call it a medicinal marvel, call it a perpetual optimist — we just call it the happiest flower on Earth. 💛 #carlythegardenspot #ga

Feverfew has been a medicinal go-to herb for me and my family for …. No kidding, 20 plus years! I will admit I was doubtful at first when introduced to this herb and the reputation this plant carried. My headaches definitely caused me to loose time with work and family (much too often) so I was willing to try any herb that was recommended by a naturopathic. Several choices are suggested for folks to either purchase or make feverfew medications themselves. I’ve chosen, to make capsules. First, I’

🌼 Feverfew: A Powerful Medicinal Herb 🌿 Hello Honey Bees! 🐝 Have you ever heard of feverfew? This small daisy-like herb has been used in herbal medicine for centuries and is still valued today for its powerful natural healing properties. 🌼 Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is believed to have originated in Southeastern Europe, the Mediterranean region, and Asia Minor, and has since spread throughout the world. Today it’s commonly grown in herb gardens for both its beauty and medicinal uses. 🌿

If I had to pick ONE flower I’m most excited to grow this year… it’s Feverfew 🤍🌿 Not the flashiest in the garden, not the biggest blooms… but somehow it completely steals the show. There’s just something about those tiny daisy-like flowers — soft white petals, sunny yellow centers — that makes everything feel a little more wild, a little more effortless, and a lot more romantic. But here’s why I’m really obsessed: Feverfew is the definition of a quiet workhorse in the garden. ✨ It blooms like

Galena Berkompas • Urban Flower Farm • Education on Instagram: "Is it more efficient to have all your flowers in long straight rows? Yes, it definitely is. Do I do it? Usually not because I love the asethetic of a cottage garden! It was my original dream to have a property that was a huge cottage garden and even when I switched to farming I still wanted both. How have I planned that? I’ve found that it’s very helpful to think in terms of smaller spaces instead of one large space. So, for example
