Elan Yachts joined with a team of sailors with Olympic experience to test the new Elan E6, especially the performance side of the performance cruiser equation. This test focused on upwind performance. The team experienced 30-35 knots of constant Bura wind with gusts up to 40 knots. The maximum recorded speed of the Elan E6 yacht during this testing was 12.5 knots of speed over ground. Elan E6 is a 47 foot performance cruiser from Elan Yachts.
