Let's me an Oregon grape and pineappleweed fermented syrup! Could also be called a cheong! Oregon grape, Mahonia repens, is a low growing evergreen that makes lovely yellow flowers and mouth puckering little purple berries. They're best in sugar-added recipes, so I thought we would try a syrup and include the pineapple weed I found growing next to it! I'm hoping this makes a tart, herbal syrup!
