Some days you get stuck scraping for hours on end and some days you get lucky and only have to peel for a few minutes! This old rabbit skin glue lining was do deteriorated that no moisture was needed to remove it. Obviously it’s much easier and more pleasant than scraping swollen glue for hours but it’s also better for the original canvas as I won’t have to subject it to moisture which can be problematic for paintings. | Baumgartner Fine Art Restoration
