BNSF Railway’s Sumas Subdivision travels between Burlington and Sumas, WA at the US-Canadian border. Most of the rail line was previously owned by the Northern Pacific Railway and served as their major connection between Seattle and Canada. Today, only one train regularly runs on this line, making 5 pubs trips each week.
