The steel block is called a Ball-Out Die, and this process ensures perfect curves, consistent shape, and precise sizing inside and out. Before this step, the part is softened with heat (annealed) so the metal bends smoothly without cracking. The result? A flawless, durable slide crook that keeps your horn performing at its best.
