TAMPA, FL. (February 5, 2025) - - The Tampa Police Department is releasing body-worn camera footage of the officer-involved shooting that took place on Feb. 4, 2025. The incident occurred after a convicted felon, Matthew Fowler, fired a gun at officers. VIDEO LINK One officer returned fire, but Fowler was able to flee the scene on foot.
