IndyCar observers couldn’t help but wonder if Will Power's win last week at Portland, his 45th for the organization, impressed team owner Roger Penske enough to ensure Power a seat for 2026. Veteran racer Graham Rahal endorsed Power, saying he’d be an asset at Rahal Letterman Lanigan.

Will Power's wife told IndyStar the past few months have been "a fun experience," and Will even flipped the framing on his unknown future after a win at Portland.

Power surged to the lead in the middle stages of the race and kept a charging Christian Lundgaard and Alex Palou at bay over the event’s second half to claim the BITNILE.com Grand Prix of Portland. It was the Australian’s first win of the year and the only victory for Team Penske in what’s been a tumultuous 2025 campaign.
