Roman Anthony has finally been called up to the Major Leagues by the Boston Red Sox. The top prospect in all of baseball was promoted from Triple-A Worcester on Monday.

The outfielder, who turned 21 last month, is the youngest player to reach the big leagues for the Red Sox since Rafael Devers was called up as a 20-year-old in 2017.

The Red Sox are calling up Roman Anthony ahead of their series with the Rays, multiple sources have confirmed to MassLive. In Worcester, Anthony did not get on the team bus on Monday, but was instead loading a car while the team left Worcester, per MassLive’s Katie Morrison-O’Day. Anthony confirmed the news to O’Day.
