After years of complaints about reckless driving and late-night noise near Sim Park, the City of Wichita has installed new security gates aimed at restoring peace to the area.

The Kirkland Police Department (KPD) says a 16-year-old boy riding a dirtbike was seriously injured in a crash on July 29.
