The Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee — which includes victim’s family members, shooting survivors and other key players — unanimously voted to advance the final design to honor those who died and survived at the club, which was a gathering spot for Central Florida’s LGBTQ community before the June 12, 2016, massacre that killed 49 people.

The final design for the Pulse Memorial was unveiled Monday as the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee worked on final details. Renderings on display show the memorial will be built on the Pulse Nightclub property and feature an Angel Ellipse,

Following months of discussions, an Orlando citizen's advisory board finalized design elements to honor the victims and survivors of the Pulse tragedy.
