CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Medic has reached an agreement to temporarily extend its contract with the Charlotte Fire Department. The Mecklenburg County ambulance service announced Tuesday that it’s extending the agreement for six months through a memorandum of understanding. The two agencies had until Jan. 9, 2025, to reach a deal.
