Coke and Pepsi have both introduced new beverages with cane sugar. However, Coke’s product will not replace its existing flagship brand, as Donald Trump implied it would in a social media post. Pepsi’s new product, meanwhile, will include prebiotic fiber.
Americans are seeking out more high-protein food options, which is benefitting established companies like General Mills as well as newer up-and-coming brands.

According to a press release, Pepsi Prebiotic Cola is the "first ever prebiotic cola in the traditional cola category," but that's not all! The refreshing new release contains "3g of prebiotic fiber, just 5g of cane sugar, 30 calories, no artificial sweeteners," and will be available in two flavors: Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla.
