Passengers onboard an Air India flight from Chicago to Delhi on Thursday were forced to circle back to Chicago due to a technical snag, a spokesperson of the airlines said on Monday.The spokesperson further said that alternative arrangements were made in time for the passengers to take them to their destination.

After 10 hours in the air, an Air India flight returned to Chicago due to clogged toilets. The airline provided accommodation for passengers and offered refunds or rescheduling options.

A Delhi-bound Air India flight was forced to make an emergency U-turn to Chicago reportedly after nine of its 10 toilets were clogged. The flight had already covered a 10-hour journey before it landed back in the US on March 6.
