California inmate Scott Peterson was injured at Mule Creek State Prison on Sunday, state officials said. The convicted murderer was involved in an "incident with another person" and suffered "minor injuries" March 9, a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokesperson told NewsNation affiliate KRON.

The grand opening of the new Costco in Sharon is officially here. The store at 160 Old Post Road, which is just over the Foxboro line, will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Police told 12 News that officers will be helping direct traffic outside the store for at least the first four days since the location is expected to draw shoppers from around the area.
