Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family were at the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg when a fire broke out just after 2 a.m. State police said they're investigating it as arson.

Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating an alleged arson at the governor’s residence overnight, which left the building with a “significant amount of damage.”

Shapiro said his family was evacuated from the official Harrisburg residence at 2 a.m. and that no one was injured.
