An American crow in Walnut Creek was found to be the second bird infected with West Nile Virus, according to the Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District.

City officials are warning the public after West Nile Virus was detected at two Bridgeport attractions. West Nile Virus was found in mosquitoes at Beardsley Zoo and on Barnum Boulevard at Seaside Park.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest people wear loose-fitting, long-sleeved clothing to protect themselves from the virus.
