About 100 people lined the sidewalks Thursday night in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, in protest of ongoing ICE activities across the country.

An updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:32 p.m. in effect until 4 p.m. The warning is for Leavenworth, Clay, Platte, Atchison, Doniphan, Andrew and Buchanan counties.

Clay County Commissioner Jason Withington said North Kansas City is no longer attempting to bring the Royals to town.
