President Donald Trump signed an executive order reinstating the national fitness assessment, which was sunset during the Obama administration.

The president signed an executive order that expands on kids’ participation in sports and physical activity, while promoting good nutrition.

Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday that will expand the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition and bring back the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools, White House Officials confirmed to ABC News.
