According to ESPN’s NBA insider Brian Windhorst, Deandre Ayton, a former No. 1 overall pick, could be the ideal solution.  Windhorst recently addressed the Milwaukee Bucks’ recent acquisition of Myles Turner and put the Lakers on the hot seat for Ayton.

According to ESPN insider Brian Windhorst, the Lakers were going toe-to-toe in the race to sign Deandre Ayton: "The Lakers were competing with the Bucks for Deandre Ayton, and so this leaves Deandre Ayton to go to the Lakers to be their starting center as a possible ramification of this," Windhorst said.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst made a great point on First Take this morning. Since the Bucks and Lakers were two of the teams competing to sign the now free agent Deandre Ayton, the Lakers have less competition when it comes to signing Ayton.
