Wildfire burning near Halifax business park being held
A wildfire near a Halifax business park is being held and firefighters will remain at the scene overnight, according to an alert sent by the Halifax Regional Municipality on Wednesday night. When a fire is being held, it means that it's not likely to grow. Earlier Wednesday, Natural Resources estimated the fire to be about 15 hectares in size.
Appointments at the Bayers Lake Community Outpatient Centre have either been relocated or rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14.
The Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources says firefighters are back at the site of a large wildfire in the Halifax area on Wednesday morning.
