Sandy Steers, the longtime executive director of Friends of Big Bear Valley and creator of the popular Big Bear bald eagle nest cam, died Wednesday night.
Steers, 73, was one of the founders of Friends of Big Bear Valley, which has operated a bald eagle webcam since 2015.
