Unfortunately for Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch, dodgeball comes with its own risks, and during the first game Houston's Joe Mixon hit him right in the Pro Bowls. While Branch wasn't actually hurt and was able to laugh about it afterwards, it still makes for an incredibly funny video.

The Detroit Lions' 2024 season is now in the books. It did not end the way that everyone hoped it would. The Lions Super Bowl aspirations fell short again.  The Lions now head to the offseason looking to get healthy and looking to build a team that can go out and get themselves back to the playoffs again in 2025.

The Lions had seven players make the initial roster for the Pro Bowl — quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, center Frank Ragnow, Sewell, safety Brian Branch and punter Jack Fox — and had 11 players named as alternates.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, making his first Pro Bowl appearance after his second career selection, took part in the "passing the test" competition, posting 27 points. The 2025 Pro Bowl Games event featured quarterbacks trying to hit targets at various distances around the field worth different point values in 40 seconds.

The NFC took a 14-7 lead on the AFC on the first night of competition at the NFL’s Pro Bowl Games, and players from Alabama high schools and college had a lot to do with that. Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (Alabama) opened the event for the NFC by going five-for-five on trivia questions about the Pro Bowlers.

Burks was called into action for the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII when Dre Greenlaw went down with an injury. This time Burks is filling in for Nakobe Dean.
