Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert narrowly avoided being hit by what appeared to be a falling piece of equipment from the jumbotron at the Target Center during a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert and Atlanta Hawks big man Mouhamed Gueye walked away unscathed as a piece of debris fell from the Target Center jumbotron.

Gobert, who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the win, was walking back towards the bench at the end of the first quarter when a large object came crashing to the hardwood from above. It narrowly missed Gobert, who described it during a postgame radio interview as a "big metal piece."
