The Washington Commanders had big dreams of scoring an upset loss against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. As it turned out, they did not even come close to that goal on Sunday, as the Commanders suffered a 55-23 destruction at the hands of Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, who are now waltzing their way into the Super Bowl.

Hurts wasn’t the only quarterback receiving praises. Burkhardt and Brady had a lot to say about Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of the matchup between division rivals. “He’s not playing like a rookie. He’s actually playing at an MVP-type level,” Brady said.

The Eagles did have success against Daniels in the first meeting, on Nov. 14, a 26-18 Eagles win. Carter had a career-high 7 tackles that night as Daniels was held to 191 yards passing and 18 yards rushing.Carter will need to do that again for the Eagles to advance to their second Super Bowl in three seasons.
With Daniels, Washington has a major advantage at football's most important position. He's the great equalizer in the NFC championship game.
