Google has just released the Google Classroom app to the Play Store. The app has a few new features that weren't available on the web interface.

As normal classroom learning has been curtailed as a result of COVID-19 lockdowns, Google Classroom has seen a surge of downloads on the Google Play Store.

“Google worked with educators across the country to create Classroom: a streamlined, easy to use tool that helps teachers manage coursework,” the Google Classroom website states.
