INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever have signed rookie Grace VanSlooten to a rest-of-season contract. VanSlooten recently played for for the Seattle Storm after being drafted 39th overall in the 2026 WNBA draft. VanSlooten played in the first four games for the Storm, averaging 4.3 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game.
Grace VanSlooten played at Michigan State before being drafted in April. She adds depth to the Fever roster at a position of need.
Lexie Hull will not be the grand marshal for Sunday's Indianapolis 500 NASCAR race. That honor was bestowed on her Indiana Fever teammate, Caitlin Clark. Clark will be tasked to command drivers to report to their cars right before the race starts.
