It was often unclear what Johnny would do when Cobra Kai ended, but the show has subtly provided an answer for his Karate Kid: Legends-era role.

In the final scene, Daniel attempts to catch a fly with chopsticks like Mr. Miyagi challenged him to do in The Karate Kid. Johnny comes and squishes the fly with his hands while they are out for lunch, once again illustrating that their friendship is based on differences.

After six seasons, Cobra Kai has come to an end, as Netflix released the final five episodes of the beloved Karate Kid series on Thursday morning. The show wrapped up the story of Johnny and Daniel’s rivalry-turned-friendship and saw their karate students finish up the biggest tournament in the world before heading off to college.

Cobra Kai season 6, part 3 is finally here, but its early viewership is down from part 1. The first part of the show's finale was released back in July 2024, with part 3 debuting this February. Per Netflix's own top 10 data (H/T Deadline ),
