According to ESPN, the Washington Commanders are officially returning to their roots. The organization has reached a deal with the District of Columbia to build a new stadium on the site of the former RFK Stadium—where the franchise experienced its greatest success from 1961 to 1996. An official announcement is expected Monday morning.
