Joe Gomez has returned to training ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth at Anfield today after three weeks out. The long-serving defender has recovered from the Achilles injury that forced him to leave the club’s pre-season tour of Asia last month and return home to Merseyside for treatment.

The defending English Premier League champions look to start the new season on the right foot, as Liverpool gets set to play host to Bournemouth to kick off the 2025-26 campaign.
