A rare dinosaur skull will soon go on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, but the fossil will not be on view for long.

The Carreras Pampa site inside Torotoro National Park in central Bolivia has revealed more than 16,000 footprints by carnivorous dinosaurs.

The mystery surrounding dozens of small dinosaur fossils has finally been solved. Remains previously thought to belong to miniature armored dinosaurs are actually baby ankylosaurs, offering scientists new insight into how these remarkable dinosaurs developed.

A remarkably well-preserved dinosaur fossil has arrived at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of National History. According to the institution’s announcement, the nearly complete skull of a Pachycephalosaurus is set to make its public debut on December 22 in the FossiLab –the museum’s working specimen preparation laboratory.

One of three possible routes would border the North Texas park. The project is part of a statewide effort to keep pace with Texas’ rapidly growing energy needs.

In 2025, dinosaurs were everywhere. In May, the BBC revived their landmark series Walking With Dinosaurs, while July saw the release of Jurassic World Rebirth, the seventh film in the extinction-proof Jurassic Park franchise.

The Dinosaur Museum in Cocoa Beach offers fun and education, with a full gift shop, Adventure Zone, and Ancient Cultures display.
