U.S. President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit on Friday against Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch and two Wall Street Journal reporters, raising claims under federal libel law, court records show. A copy of the complaint was not immediately available.

Donald Trump has followed through on his threat to sue Rupert Murdoch and his media companies over the Wall Street Journal‘s report on a bawdy letter in his name that was included in an album given to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003.

The libel suit, which seeks at least $10 billion in damages, was filed the same day the Justice Department asked a judge to unseal grand jury transcripts tied to Jeffrey Epstein's case.
