In the aftermath of arguably his worst game of the season, 76ers star Paul George shed some light on his ongoing injury battle. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, George's nagging hand injury has gotten bad enough to where he's been taking shots before games just to stay on the court.

Paul George is seven months into his 4-year, $212 million contract with the Sixers. Things have not started off as advertised for the 9-time All-Star. But GM Daryl Morey has a chance to move PG, and undo what could end up being a lingering albatross of a contract.

If the Sixers are looking to make a big shakeup by the trade deadline, it almost has to involve George. Embiid isn’t eligible to be traded until the offseason, and trading Maxey is likely a non-starter for now (although TrueHoop’s Henry Abbott recently made a case for it).
