Ohio Federation of Teachers said in a November 12 X post sharing the poll: “OFT Poll: @SherrodBrown is leading Senator Jon Husted by 3 points. Sherrod has double digit leads with independent voters, moderate voters, suburban voters, and women, and has a 10 point advantage in net favorability.” The election is set for November 3, 2026.
What appears to be an intense 2026 election season kicks off behind the scenes in Ohio. Secretary of State Frank LaRose directed county boards of elections to begin reprogramming registration systems with new district boundaries.
Ohio voters will head to the polls for the 2025 election on Tuesday, November 4. Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. across the state. Voters must present an unexpired photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, to cast a ballot in person.
