A former Pro Bowl offensive lineman has died. The Washington Commanders confirmed the death of Tre Johnson after the Associated Press reported the news on Sunday. Johnson, who went on to become a high school history teacher at the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, was 54.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman John Leglue is retiring from the NFL, he announced on social media. Leglue spent much of the past few seasons bouncing around practice squads. He signed with the Rams at one point this season,

Funeral services for former Auburn and NFL defensive lineman Mark Smith are scheduled for 2 p.m. CST Saturday at Ardis T. Williams Sr. Auditorium in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Smith died Feb. 10 at age 51.
