Week 7 of the 2025 college football season, as usual, brought plenty of drama.

Week 7 of college football is set to send shockwaves through the AP Top 25. Arch Manning and a stout Texas defense restored faith in the Longhorns with a dominant 23-6 win against No. 6 Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry game.

Miami moved back to No. 2 in The Associated Press college football poll on Sunday, Texas Tech has its highest ranking since 2008 and Penn State and Texas fell all the way out of the Top 25 for the first time since 2022 after the two top-10 teams lost to unranked opponents.

This week, No. 7 Penn State traveled across the country to face the winless UCLA Bruins. The Nittany Lions were down 27-7 at halftime but battled back in the second half. Still, when the dust settled, UCLA picked up its first win of the season, handing Penn State a surprising loss.

UNLV has quietly started 6-0 under new coach Dan Mullen and a win this week at Boise State would put the Rebels in the spotlight.
