Severe storms are set to slam Texas with hail and flood threats as a lengthy mass storm system moves through the state.

A powerful plume of moisture is delivering widespread moderate to heavy rain across all of Massachusetts on Sunday, with totals of one to two inches expected statewide before drier air arrives Monday.

The region is looking at a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms at night with slight chances of storms during the day, the weather service's forecast said.
