Today, at Google I/O 2025, the company announced that Gemini 2.5 Pro will now be available in Android Studio for developers to use to build their apps.

The new feature, called Agent Mode, is part of Gemini in Android Studio, the company’s development environment for designing, building and testing applications for Android smartphones.
