Australia has overcome a miserable morning to rock South Africa back on its heels by the end of day one of the World Test Championship at Lord’s.

As many as 14 wickets fell on Day 1, with Kagiso Rabada's five-wicket haul helping SA dismiss AUS for 212 runs and then Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood knocking over four wickets before Stumps.

Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma, and Kagiso Rabada the headline writers as South Africa finally ended their ICC tournament hoodoo, beating Australia by 5 wickets at Lord's to win the ICC Test mace by winning the WTC Final.
