The parade is expected to include about 6,600 soldiers, 50 helicopters and 60-ton M1 Abrams battle tanks, as well as possibly 200,000 attendees and heightened security to match.

Organizers have planned demonstrations in cities and towns across the country on the same day as President Trump’s parade in Washington to celebrate the Army.

The June 14 "No Kings" protests, organized by activist group Indivisible and its partners, are part of a "nationwide day of defiance," with events slated to occur across the country.
