"Happy Gilmore 2" is on Netflix, nearly 20 years after the original box-office hit. The Adam Sandler movie features celebrities and PGA/LIV golfers.

Carl Weathers’ Chubbs Peterson was also slated to return, until the actor died last year. So this film features the character’s son Slim Peterson (Lavell Crawford), who, like his father, sports a prosthetic hand that has the inconvenient propensity for falling off.

Adam Sandler returns in Happy Gilmore 2, reprising his iconic golf role nearly 30 years later. Netflix officially announces the sequel, premiering globally on Friday, July 25, 2025.
