The sixth-place squad in the Eastern Conference, the Detroit Red Wings (5-2), visit the 12th-ranked New York Islanders (3-3) at UBS Arena on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. New York earned a 4-3 victory at home its last time out on Oct. 21 against the San Jose Sharks.
