Iran launched multiple deadly waves of missiles and drones toward Israel into Saturday morning following Israel’s unprecedented strikes aimed at destroying Iran’s nuclear program and decapitating its military leadership.

The strikes came after the Israeli military said it had carried out fresh strikes on Iran nuclear infrastructure sites.

Israel had spent months smuggling in parts for hundreds of quadcopter drones rigged with explosives—in suitcases, trucks and shipping containers—as well as munitions that could be fired from unmanned platforms,

Israeli citizens were ordered to head to bomb shelters on Friday night amid retaliatory missile strikes from Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday "this war in Israel-Iran should end," with his comments coming in a social media post on his call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "The call (between Trump and Putin) lasted approximately 1 hour.
