WASHINGTON, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Iran is expected to submit a written proposal on how to avoid its standoff with the United States in the wake of U.S.-Iran talks in Geneva on Tuesday, a senior U.S. official told Reuters on Wednesday.
Stock futures fell Thursday, giving back some of the gains from the previous session, as a disappointing outlook from Walmart weighed on sentiment along with simmering tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 124 points, or 0.3%. S&P 500 futures slipped 0.2%, while Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 0.4%.
