LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska suffered its third loss of the season Tuesday night in a 97-87 overtime defeat at Iowa. Nebraska went up 34-31 at halftime and was in control for much of the second half.

Payton Sandfort scored all 30 of his points after halftime and Iowa erased a 15-point second-half deficit to earn a 97-87 overtime win over visiting Nebraska on Tuesday in Iowa City.

The Huskers held a 15-point lead over Iowa early in the second half, which dwindled due to defense giving way. Even with Brice Williams forcing overtime with a three-point buzzer-beater, it didn't halt Iowa's momentum swing.
