The Downtown Campus, located in the heart of Gloucester, welcomes visitors to its beautiful galleries for special exhibitions & programs throughout the year. The Museum houses the single largest collection of work by maritime artist Fitz Henry Lane along with many other historically important American artists who were inspired by the area. In addition to fine art, the Museum’s collections include decorative art, textiles, artifacts from the maritime & granite industries, a Library & Archives.
